DESTINATION WEDDING: MEXICO

Hey Guys,
Well Lyn and I got back from Mexico which was an AMAZING trip where we filmed Courtney & Mark’s Wedding!
We met up at the studio at 3:00 in the morning to leave for the airport to get to our flight from Monroe to Cancun Mexico.
Wow I had not gone to sleep at all as I had too many things to do from producing an interview of myself for the show GetMarried from Lifetime to working on getting out DVD’s to clients. I was so tired yet I had to pack our camera bags for Mexico and its like a 3 hour process to do that because I want everything to be in a perfect place. Anyways we got to the airport and everything went fine I just slept the WHOLE way on both flights lol!
Anyways we landed at 11:00 in Cancun then had to take a cab ride to Tulum, Mexico which is about 2 hours drive from the airport. As we arrived at the Eurostar’s Blue Azul “all inclusive resort” they opened the large gates that brought us to the entrance of Blue Azul. We get out of the car and immediately we are handed cold towels with aromatherapy smells and then given cool fruit champaign. Lyn and I both looked at each other and smiled like “OH YEAHHH” LOL!.
We get in and they bring us to our late lunch where you can get anything and everything and I am expecting it to be hot and humid and I actually can’t stand the beach so I was not sure what to prepare for. As we walked the steps we could see waterfalls to our side and a huge pool that looked as though it went into the ocean. We sit on the patio and to my amazement the weather was PERFECT. I had never been to the beach and had a great temperature. This place was like paradise and super fancy. We are brought to our rooms where all of our luggage was already in our rooms which we each had suites with HUGE beds and LARGE bathrooms.
The room was very big and when you think all inclusive everything is taken care of from free mini bar to room service galore. I walked over to the window and to my amazement we each had our own Jacuzzi’s. Everyday was filled with amazing food from Sushi to really good salmon, mahi mahi, and tons more!
Anyways skipping ahead two days as we did arrive on thursday we got to the wedding which was very cool because we also shot during the day 8mm film which I can’t wait to show you guys!

Everything was really cool from the ceremony on the beach to the dinner time when all of a sudden HUGE GIANTS appeared in the room screaming WHAAAT as we began to realize they wanted the whole group of guest to follow them to the beach where we are met with flame throwers and GIANTS walking about and dancing to tribal music. The whole time the audience was captured by these GIANTS and the fire tricks they preformed. We had an amazing shoot the day after with the bride and groom on the Rocky formations that overlooked the crashing waves. The whole trip was a blast! A big thanks goes to TimCo for flying in to help shoot 8mm and help out with the shoots!
Out to LA!

Hey Guys,
The other day I got back from Los Angeles CA. I went to go shoot a wedding with the very famous TimCo of TimCo Photography.
We had a great time and got to hang out with one of my best friends over in Burbank Lori Creech. I was amazed at how different and beautiful LA was it was filled with tons of color and the way the sun hit the buildings and the people its very different than what we have in the south. Tim and I shot a really cool wedding filled with laughter and joy. The bride and groom where so funny and full of life. Every one would enter with this grand hilarious entrance. I have to say it was a great time and I got to see what it was like in LA for the first time with great friends!
Here are a few images I shot during the wedding!

James Christopher - Kid Warrior

Hey Guys,
I want to show you guys a site I created for the son of one of my good friends Chris Allums. You may remember Chris from the Dixi Furniture commercials he was the guy in the cowboy hat. Chris’s son James Christopher suffers from Fanconi Anemia which is a rare bone marrow disease and only a few hundred kids have it in the whole world.
www.jcallums.com
I put this together so that his family and friends would have a place to send people who wanted to know what Fanconi Anemia is. I want you guys to spread the word and go get tested. People think its a painful test but now days its not at all its as simple as swabbing the back of your mouth.

If you could save a life and your that one person out of THOUSANDS and you are the only one that matches that person close enough wouldn’t you help? To think out of thousands your the only one that can save him wouldn’t you try? I am asking for each and everyone of you to go get tested and get on the National Donor List.
Their kids where a blast to shoot! I went with a whole new style towards the end of the slideshow where I shot them more naturally and I felt they turned out the best!
Check out these sites for more information on what Fanconi Anemia is and also info on getting on the list:

Miami - Trip

Hey Guys,
This last weekend I flew to Miami to do a photographer promo for Charles Bordner of Imagine That Inc
Charles is a photographer located in South Carolina who has got a lot of great things in the works! We stayed at
“The Palms” on South Beach which turned out to be a beautiful place to host a beach wedding.

I went to Miami to film Charles in action at a wedding. Cool thing–the bride, “Sony”, is from Germany and it was a neat experience for me to hear her speak in German! The ceremony was held on a beach that overlooked the ocean and also had large boulders close to the shore, making for a unique and beautiful setting. I have to say, I really enjoyed the wedding! Check out Charles’ work to see some shots of the wedding!

Las Vegas Trip
Hey Guys,
Last week I went to Las Vegas to shoot a good friend’s birthday party! It was the 40th birthday of Harald from bludomain.com.
If you don’t know who bludomain is, it is my amazing website company! Aundrea - “Harald’s Wife” - truly threw one of the most amazing birthday parties I have ever been to- It ROCKED!
We all got to stay at the “Venitian”, one of the most amazing hotels I have ever been to or stayed in. We all met up in a cool room to meet all of Harald’s friends.

I knew a few people, such as Charles Brinton from www.brintonstudios.com. He and his wife are so funny, and the coolest to hang out with! The others we knew were Wade from bludomain and his hilarious wife!
After meeting up, we headed to “N9NE Steakhouse” at the Palms. Let’s just say this was one of the coolest Steak Houses I have ever seen. I got to meet lots of new people from all over the US and the world.
When Harald entered the party with Aundrea, he was completely blown away! After eating a great meal, we headed to Tao, one of the top Clubs in Vegas.

Believe it or not, this was my first experience in a club! It was a little overwelming, but once I eventually found a good group to hang out with and I had a BLAST!
Anyway, if you guys have not seen bludomain before, check them out. The company is made up of a extremely dedicated and creative team - check out their sites - they speak for themselves! I’m impressed with their personable nature as a company even though they have many clients - they keep a very personal touch to each part of their business.
Usually I don’t like Vegas (I have to go there pretty often for conferences) but this time I had a blast and got to shoot a cool birthday party! Happy LATE birthday, Harald!
Lake Tahoe Trip

Hey Guys,
Two weeks agao, we went to Reno, NV to shoot the wedding of Hollye Schumacher from www.hollye.com. Holly’s wedding was on Lake Tahoe at her father’s house.
While we were in Nevada, we stayed in Reno (which was a cool experience!) but later went to Lake Tahoe for the wedding. There, we stayed at the Cal Neva Resort which was beautiful because it’s right on the water. The resort is a very historic place and was once actually was owned by the GREAT Frank Sinatra himself. Anyways, when we first arrived at the resort, we were able to eat a great lunch with an amazing view of the lake! Later in the day, Victoria Canada, the wedding coordinator with www.weddingsandevents.net, brought us over to Hollye’s dad’s house. This home is the kind that you typically only see in movies. It is located right on the water and every bedroom is positioned so that you are able to see the lake.
The rehearsal went great, and we had the opportunity to meet the different photographer companies that were there to shoot the wedding alongside us. David & Qwin from www.dqstudios.com and Wii from www.f8studio.com. All of them do an amazing job. The day of the wedding was amazing! I felt like we were at a celebrity wedding! They had a wedding production company do the wedding, and all I can say about the entire day is: WOW!
We had a great time shooting Hollye & Eric’s Wedding and can’t wait to show the trailer!
