Melanie & Chris - Next Day/Same Day Edit

Melanie & Chris SDE - Atlanta,GA - October 11th 2009
Wow did we have a blast or what! Melanie and Chris had an amazing wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms the other day in Atlanta, Georgia.
This was my first attempt at a Same Day edit but we did it a little different than normal way as we got to shoot their Bride & Groom Elegance Film the day before and so we surprised them and used clips from it to incorporate it into the Same Day Edit. Also a big thanks to Michael Gebben for all the help and flying in to shoot with me!

ENJOY! Leave a comment if you want!

(meaning some shots where shot the day before during the bride and groom elegance film and the other shot during the wedding day and the final piece displayed at the reception)

    Hey Josh,

Great work as always! Yes the Same Day Edit’s are such a challenge. We have done over 35 of them between 2008 & 2009 and it is a little more streamlined now. (it’s one of the things we have become known for) If you have a quick moment check out some of our stuff with the SDE’s we make (http://nr3videoproductions.com/blog). I’ll have to say once you get a system in place they will be a little easier work flow wise but the pressure is never going to go away. :o) We can hope right!?
We hope to see you around one day and AMAZING WORK as always!! If your ever in San DIego, please stop by!

    Best,
    Norma & John

Love the shot at 00:36, putting makeup on with the building in the background.
Don’t know why, can’t put my finger on it, maybe gives context or character. I don’t know?
    00:54, 01:42 Great!
01:57 and similar scenes, I thought yellow was overdone, but just personal taste.

    Well done!
